Survival Swim Lesson Descriptions
All our Survival-Based Swim Lesson Programs emphasize drowning prevention and water safety skills in order to keep your keiki safe in and around water. A percentage of every lesson will go back to our nonprofit in order to provide scholarships for low income families.
Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Swim Lessons
ISR Swim Lessons are for infants and keiki 6 months to 6 years old. These are survival-based swim lessons that teach your keiki what to do if they ever reaches the water alone. Keiki that are under 12 months old and not yet walking will learn to rollback into an independent floating posture and remain there until someone can pick them up. Keiki that are over 12 months old and fully walking can learn the independent swim-float-swim sequence. All ISR Lessons are Mondays through Fridays, 5 days a week, for 10 mins a day. It takes an average of 6 weeks (30 lessons) for most keiki to become water safe and fully skilled. Cost is $1150 for 6 weeks (30 Lessons) plus $105 registration fee.

Transition To Beach/Surf
Lessons
For Transition to Beach/Surf Lessons we recommend that your keiki takes ISR Lessons or Water Safety Lessons prior but it is not a requirement. Transition to Beach Lessons teach your keiki how to use their survival swim skills in another environment (ocean). We incorporate water safety, educating both parents and keiki on how to be safe in and around the ocean. For Transition to Surf, we teach your keiki the basics of surfing (body position, balancing, paddling, turning, standing up and falling safely). For both Transition to Beach and Transition to Surf, we utilize independent swimming and floating skills and make sure each keiki knows their limits & boundaries. Safety is always our number one priority! Lesson are held from Monday through Saturdays during the morning hours. You will book one lesson at a time. Location is Ala Moana Beach Park. Exact location will be giving after booking. The cost for one lesson is $40 for one-on-one private instruction.
